Web4 Oct 2024 · There is a cramfs root filesystem at offset 0x100000 (512k) from the beginning of the image. This appears to be the root filesystem but it doesn't contain all the files. Instead of rootfs=ramfs root=/dev/foobar rw you need to pass rootfstype=ramfs. Be sure that you have all necessary kernel options enabled. Also, rdinit=/something_standard is redundant.
