We use our DellConnect software which you have to first agree to before the applet is installed. We are investigating this. Our Customer Care Liaison (DELL-Lorna M) responded to a similar complaint on this thread. At best, the scammers are trying to get you to pay them to "fix" a nonexistent problem with your device or software.
