NettetThe only way to get to the dunes is via the Hokianga Express, it’s not cheap though at $27 per adult. You do get several hours of fun on boards which the boat skipper provides. Our boys loved the dunes and the adults managed to keep up. Take swimwear with you, a towel and water, may need a warm top for the boat ride back.
