WebOct 10, 2014 · The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has published its NIST Framework and Roadmap for Smart Grid Interoperability Standards, Release 3.0, a document that reflects advances in Smart Grid technologies and developments from NIST’s collaborative work with industry stakeholders. Websmart grid cybersecurity guidelines; (2) evaluate FERC’s approach for adopting and monitoring smart grid cybersecurity and other standards; and (3) identify challenges associated with smart grid cybersecurity. To do so, GAO analyzed agency documentation, interviewed responsible officials, and hosted an expert panel.
